- Dr. Imogene Lim co-curated, with Sophie Yamauchi, a pop-up exhibit, Dishing Up Memories: Eating Chinese in BC, for the Chinese Canadian Museum, May 28, 2022.
- On June 24, 2022, honours, majors, and minors in Anthropology joined in the pomp and ceremony of graduation. Check out the VIU 2022 Convocation Program, BAs begin on page 25.
- During the July-August 2022 intersession, VIU Anthropology partnered with UBC History to offer a field study seminar: Food, Farms, & Funerals. Vickie Gould, June 2020 graduate, is featured in this YouTube clip.
- Dr. Imogene Lim is one of the interviewees in the NFB documentary, Unarchived, which premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival, September 30, 2022.
- Nadine Nakagawa, June 2008 graduate, became a second term New Westminster City Councillor.
- Kirsten Van't Schip, June 2021 graduate, successfully ran as a Powell River Board of Education trustee candidate.
- Dr. Imogene Lim was interviewed by Stephen Quinn, host of CBC's The Early Edition, to promote a Lunch & Learn event, Making Space: Banning BBQ Meats, at the Museum of Vancouver, November 19, 2022.
- Dr. Marie Hopwood was interviewed for "Jahrtausendealtes Kultgetränk: Wie das Bier nach Deutschland kam," National Geographic Deutschland, April 21, 2023.
